Our Culture

One of Data Projections' defining characteristics is our culture, and it is something that is part of every decision we make. Every company claims that it focuses on customer service and supports its people, but Data Projections considers them essential priorities. In nearly three decades in the industry, it is this commitment to service that has enabled us to build an immaculate reputation. It has also enabled us to grow from a tiny upstart business to an industry leader.

But what exactly does Data Projections mean when it refers to "our culture?" To us, this is what customer service looks like:
  • When working with a new client, we will provide in-depth consultation services to assess the client's needs and design a custom solution.
  • From consultation to system installation and support, we will provide hands-on training to help clients get comfortable with their new system.
  • After installation, we will provide continued and responsive technical support, with the aim being to build a long-term partnership with the client.
  • We can provide on-site technicians to enable an immediate response, provide preventative maintenance, and target areas for possible upgrades and more efficient solutions.
  • As a long-term partner, we are ready and willing to serve as the client's A/V technical advisor, offering solutions and cycling in new technology that would best fit the client's operations.

This approach extends to our people as well, and as a leading provider of communications technology, Data Projections ensures that its own people communicate closely as well. What makes Data Projections successful is its people, and we are always looking for ways to facilitate our professionals in every instance. In fact, we have personnel dedicated to improving our internal operations, ensuring that everyone has a say. This not only keeps our people connected, it also ensures that we are constantly improving.

Our long-term clients know that our culture is unmatched in the industry, and a primary reason why Data Projections is ahead of its peers.

Community Involvement

Green Doors

The Data Projections Austin team spent a day away from the office working in their community with the Affordable Housing Program's project called Green Doors.  It focuses on providing safe, quality housing for working underprivileged families and individuals.  The team assembled furniture and set up new homes for veterans with a permanent disability. The entire Austin team was able to come out and work together for the day.

"This was a great opportunity for everyone to work together on a personal level and put work aside.  It was awesome to see how everyone pulled together to help Green Doors!  It was such a rewarding experience!"

Boy Scouts of America - Annual Corporate Dodgeball Challenge

Houston's "Data Projections Dodgers" team participated in the 2013 Corporate Dodgeball Challenge benefitting the Boy Scouts of America.  The event was a fun-filled day of competition and team building for a great cause, raising an impressive $125,000!  Data Projections sponsored the event for the second year in a row, donating interactive whiteboards that displayed bracket information for the event.  We are so proud to have been a part of the event again this year!

"This was such a fun experience!  It's such a competitive atmosphere, but it's all in good fun.  It was a great team building event and for a great cause!"

Habitat for Humanity

The Data Projections San Antonio team spent a day working with Habitat for Humanity.  Through Habitat for Humanity, thousands of low-income families have found new hope in the form of affordable housing.  The team worked on several different homes in various stages of completion.  They helped with framing, blocking, roofing, siding, etc.  By the end of the day the homes were ready for inspection!  Twenty plus of our San Antonio team were able to contribute to the project.

"This was a great day filled with hard work and fun for our team!  It was a great opportunity for us to contribute in a small way to our community.  We are so proud to have been a part of Habitat for Humanity for a day!"
